CBD could be your miracle.
As part of a group project, we created a new campaign to promote CBD, (Cannabidiol), as a positive health product that people can use to help soothe their ailments, not as a medical treatment, but as part of their lifestyle.
Alongside the outcomes I created a physical ‘Process Book’ detailing the journey of the whole project, which can be found here.
The Problem
This brief was set by the agency Bright Blue Day, and the project spanned over a couple of week. We needed to create a campaign for CBD products to advertise it as something that can help people as part of their lifestyle. We had to do so without promoting it as any kind of medical product, and also without falling into the stereotypical misconceptions of CBD and its connotations with drugs, as unlike recreational drugs CBD does not contain any THC.
The Solution
From some initial interviews and primary research, we obtained our key quote, “Miracle Oil,” which we then used to inspire our campaign. We all created sets of promotional posters, using the tagline ‘CBD could be your miracle.’ We had both graphic style posters as well as photographic posters. When extending and concluding the project individually, I added to the range of photographic posters. Featured on this page is all of my own material from the project, and all of the photographic posters use my own photography.

These examples help to contextualise the posters and where we expected our promotional material to be seen. In this example, the adverts are in tube stations, a recognisably fast paced and busy environment. All of our posters aim to show the relaxing properties of CBD products, and so those in this environment may be looking for ways to reduce their daily stresses.
